I love the notion of the 'shiny object' Rob, it's very true. I do think this has been exponentially increased in recent years for two big reasons: 1) COVID changing the 'traditional' notion of work and working environment/space. It's not one place that we go everyday anymore. 2) LAYOFFS across so many industries that have grown such a transient and short-term view of how long positions may last and how much long-term commitment people are willing to give.
