BREAKING: My 3 Least Popular Posts
Let's mark Year One of this blog by celebrating the unsung (maybe unloved) offerings.
It’s been a year since I launched this blog.
And let me first start with a thank you.
Thank you for reading.
And if you’re one of my loyal subscribers, thank you for letting me into your head, heart and inbox every Sunday.
I’m grateful.
I have tried, since day one, to do one thing: help you.
Oh, this can come in the form of some inspiration or an insight or a bit of wisdom. Some weeks it might just be a chuckle.
But if I can help you do something better — great.
If I can make you think — awesome.
If I can simply make you smile — well, I love that, too.
Because this blog is all about helping you. And I use posts about creativity, coaching and other stuff to make it happen.
It’s been a remarkable year since I hit send on my first post last August.
And while I’ll share and celebrate the top three posts that continue to receive thousands of views, here’s a few kudos for the ones that you may have missed.
Drum roll please…the three least popular…
The first least popular was my very first post on the passing of legendary Princeton basketball coach Pete Carril. The post has some insight on one of the keys to leadership. You’ll find it here.
The second least popular post was on “27 Things.” My heavens, you missed a good one if you missed this one. This 27 Things exercise, which simply asks you to write down 27 things you want to do in business and life, is one of the most popular exercises I do with my coaching clients. It was created by a former rocket scientist, so have a look here.
The third least popular post was on “Momentum.” This post is a reminder of one of the most powerful forces in the universe. Have a read here.
So what are the three most popular?
Coming in at third from the top was a cool post on the Picasso theory of success and creativity. It’s the notion you need to understand the basics of anything before you can make a breakthrough. You’ll find it here.
The second most popular post is all about some lessons on creativity from record producer Rick Rubin. You’ll find that one here.
And what was my most popular post? Of course it’s the one on AI. I embraced the robots and you can read all about my little experiment here.
Anywho, thank you for a great first year. And while you’re still here I urge you to traipse through any of the 60-something posts I’ve written and tell me what are your favorites.
After all, they are written to do one thing: help you.
